TiLEzone Seminar on "Sustainable approaches to developing & operating leisure venues & attractions - the issues & opportunities" Supported by UKTI RAI Amsterdam, The Netherlands Thursday 1st October 2009 during Euro Attractions Show (30 September -2 October 2009) Following the success of the 4th TiLEzone London, which was on "Sustainable Design, Technologies & Operations - the challenges & opportunities offered to Leisure Venues & Attractions", there will be a 2nd TiLEzone "sustainability" seminar on "Sustainable approaches to developing & operating leisure venues & attractions - the issues & opportunities" during the Euro Attractions Show (EAS) in Amsterdam from 0930 to 1500 hours on Thursday 1st October 2009. This TiLEzone will show how using sustainable technologies, design & techniques can improve the profitability of Leisure Venues & Attractions, as well as improve their public perception. Increasing energy, raw material & waste disposal costs combined with uncertain weather have combined to make sustainable issues a financial, as well as a responsible, imperative. Who should attend? * Operators, owners, curators, designers, builders, managers, suppliers etc of both public and private leisure venues & attractions who care about the environment and are interested in the business opportunities offered by responding to the challenges of global warming. * Suppliers of technologies, methodologies and products that can be used by leisure venues & attractions to increase their sustainability and reduce their power consumption, pollution & wastage ie their carbon footprint. The fee for the TiLEzone is: * €100 for IAAPA and TEA members * €150 for all others Both fees include Dutch VAT of 19%, coffee/tea breaks, the seminar networking lunch AND entrance to the EAS exhibition (Entrance to the exhibition separately is €32 for IAAPA members and €42 for non-members).
