Blair Parkin has 30 years experience working as a technologist in the attractions and theatre communities worldwide. Originally starting his career designing theatre spaces he evolved into a technologist working for leading lighting, control and then projection display manufacturers worldwide. In 2002 he launched his own technology consulting practice, Visual Acuity spending 14 years working as the technologist on attraction, museum and corporate projects worldwide. His portfolio includes the busiest digital planetarium venue in the world, The Hayden Planetarium at the American Museum of Natural History, the world’s largest rated green building, The California Academy of Sciences, the under construction Grimshaw designed building in Miami, the Frost Museum of Science as well as two years working on advanced technology for the Bloomberg corporation. He has recently founded Tandemonium Partners Limited and is now acting as an independent advisor working with investors and owners planning to develop new high technology spaces around the world.
